Guest speaker is Nizar Grira. Nizar is passionate about entrepreneurship, he’s also a community geek, machine learning enthusiast, and a serious runner. He’s been living in Japan for over 12 years where he worked as a scientific researcher and held positions in securities and consulting firms. He’s currently working on a new kind of marketplaces which he will tell us a bit more during the talk.
He will give us a talk "Think Like a Startup." Most innovative breakthroughs come from startups with little to no money, experience, or resources. Uber forever disrupted the transportation industry. Airbnb catapulted home renting into the mainstream and challenging the entire hotel and hospitality industry in the process. How can small startups break entrenched leaders? The answer is their mindset which we will try to explore in this talk.
Come out and enjoy this popular event! Have some good food and drinks, meet old friends and make some new ones!
